ARTA PCB 4.1

The ARTA Platine 4.1 – also known as the ARTA PCB 4.1 – is the current original bare PCB for building an ARTA Box 4.1 yourself. It is available either without a measurement resistor or with a precisely measured 27-ohm high-power resistor. Earlier versions of the ARTA PCB are no longer current.

Available variants

ARTA Platine 4.1 without measurement resistor

The original unpopulated PCB is intended for DIY builders who want to source the reference resistor and all other components themselves and build the ARTA Box to suit their own measurement environment.

ARTA Platine 4.1 with measurement resistor

This variant additionally includes a 27-ohm high-power resistor. The reference resistor is measured to an accuracy of 0.01 ohm, providing a sound basis for high-quality, reproducible measurements.

The ARTA Platine 4.1 provides the basis for building your own ARTA Box 4.1. Components, connectors and enclosure can be selected to suit the intended application.

The front-panel labelling can be downloaded as a template. A matching sticker for the ARTA Box 4.1 is also available ready-made from m1n1.de.

Important note for self-assembly

The PCB provides two alternative protection circuits for the sound-card input. With the standard configuration using Zener diodes and jumpers, the ESD diodes and their series resistors are not required and remain unpopulated.
